I really don't know about the service complaints here. Our experience was phenomenal. It was a busy Saturday night...and I mean busy. They had a Porsche car club in town and a baby shower. And that's just what we saw in our short time there.
We had already struck out in town with getting a table because we had no reservations. So, we came back to our hotel room to regroup. They got us in right away(with no reservation, of course) and we were able to order right away. With the duty manager by the way.
(*side note* She also came to our room later to help us with our broken iron).
She was doing it ALL! 😍🙌
AND while we were eating, we noticed the nice young lady that had been taking reservations and seating people was at a table next to us taking their food and drink order. They may have understaffed that night, but they were doing everything they could to give people the best and most prompt service possible.
The food was all delicious as well. We enjoyed the seafood chowder, steak and chips, the seabass, and a pint of Guinness. Or two. 😏 I have no critiques on the food. Everything was spot on. Thank you to the whole staff for a lovely ending to our day. Truly. 💜

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I have a very positive impression. First and foremost, the staff is extremely friendly, and it's clear that despite being very busy and working hard, customer satisfaction is a top priority for them. The interior decor is lovely, and everything is very well-maintained. However, the absolute highlight of the meal was the vegetarian kebab. It was a phenomenal dish, beautifully presented. I really regret not taking a picture. It's probably the best vegetarian dish I've ever had in a restaurant in Ireland. The vegetarian kebab was on the specials menu, but I genuinely hope it makes it into their permanent selection. I don't live in Tralee, but I would gladly visit this restaurant again just for this dish. Highly recommended!

All meals were very large so good for big eaters but the chicken curry was kind of mid.

Chicken was very dry and sauce was a bit too cashew flavoured for my liking. Rice was nice and hot but the curry sauce and chicken was noticeably colder.

Otherwise service was good and someone else at the table had the roast beef special and said it was fabulous.

2 stars only because not only was the curry not good but it was quite expensive for said curry.

3 stars if it was a competitive price but for what we paid i did better quality control for the food brought out
